Our Choirs Take the Stage at Cleveland Oktoberfest

Our singers took the stage at this year's Cleveland Oktoberfest at the Berea fairgrounds, and by all accounts they brought the house down.

"Our choirs sounded fantastic yesterday at Oktoberfest. They certainly demonstrated Gemütlichkeit at its finest! Bravo!"

The Women's Choir opened in full tracht, singing against a painted Bavarian streetscape to a packed house of folding chairs.

Then the Men's Choir — the heart of the Maennerchor tradition for over 150 years — took their turn. A few of them saw no reason to put their beer down first, which is about as on-brand as it gets.

This is what the club is actually for. Not the hall, not the kitchen — the singing. If you've ever thought about joining, our choirs welcome everyone from seasoned singers to people who mostly sing in the shower. Come find out more about our choirs, or catch us at our own Oktoberfest Celebration at the clubhouse on October 3.
