The Cleveland Maennerchor notes with sorrow the passing of the Reverend Horst Hoyer, a leader of faith in Cleveland's German community for many years.
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church shared the news with its congregation:
"Though with heavy hearts we mourn our earthly loss in the passing of our beloved Rev. Horst Hoyer, we celebrate his entrance into the eternal home of our Lord."

All services will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 17, 2026:
- Visitation — 9:30 to 11:00 AM
- Funeral service — beginning at 11:00 AM
- Burial service — respectfully for family only
